Memory & Roleplay
DarLink AI

DarLink AI is a Swiss-operated AI companion platform built around memory tiers, roleplay, voice, images, and short video. This review covers the FameLink SA service, not similarly named dating or social apps.

DarLink is basically selling continuity. The plans are literally split by memory depth, with Basic memory on Essential and stronger memory higher up. That makes it easier to understand than products that vaguely promise a companion will "remember everything." The downside is price: the best memory is not on the $12.99 entry plan, and the public review pool is small and pretty rough.

Quick facts

DarLink is one of the easier products to price because the current plan page actually lists the memory tiers and media costs.

  • Best for: Tiered long-term memory and roleplay with images, voice, and short video
  • Platforms: Web and mobile browser; no native app could be verified as an official FameLink SA release
  • NSFW: Yes, on paid adult access
  • Free tier: Trial access is advertised; full paid features require a subscription
  • Paid from: $12.99/month for Essential
  • Modalities: Text chat, images, short video, voice, roleplay
  • Memory: Basic on Essential, Enhanced on Advanced, strongest continuity on Ultimate

About the platform

DarLink AI is an adult AI companion platform operated by FameLink SA in Switzerland. Its main product idea is a three-level memory system tied directly to subscription tiers. Essential gets Basic memory, Advanced moves to Enhanced memory, and Ultimate is the top plan for people who care most about long-running context. Chat sits alongside images, short NSFW video, voice choices, and roleplay modes.

Pricing overview

Pricing starts at $12.99 a month. Essential currently lists 6,000 messages, 100 coins, six standard voices, Basic memory, and Quick Roleplay. Advanced is $27.99 with 9,000 messages, 300 coins, ten premium voices, Enhanced memory, and Deep Roleplay. Ultimate is $49.99. The public pricing page confirms that top-tier price, but it does not list every Ultimate quota clearly enough to reproduce here.

Key facts:

Three-tier memory system (Basic/Enhanced/Ultimate), FameLink SA (Switzerland), $12.99–$49.99/mo, coin-based media, web and mobile browser.

Who it's for

  • You want memory tiers that are stated clearly in the pricing plan
  • You want roleplay, images, voice, and short adult video in one service
  • You prefer a Swiss-operated platform with a named legal entity
  • You are comfortable with coins on top of a monthly subscription
  • You want an exact billing descriptor published in the terms
  • You do not mind paying $27.99 or $49.99 for stronger continuity

Who should skip it

  • You expect strong long-term memory on the $12.99 Essential plan
  • You want a large independent review history; the current Trustpilot sample is tiny
  • You want a verified official native iOS or Android app
  • You dislike coin costs for images and video on top of subscription pricing
  • You want the lowest-cost AI girlfriend option rather than a memory-focused one

The experience

Chat

DarLink gives paid users thousands of messages per month, so ordinary text volume is not the obvious bottleneck. The bigger difference is what happens to context as the conversation continues. Essential users have specifically complained about the AI losing basic details, while upper tiers are designed to keep more continuity. So the chat itself is fine, basically, but the tier you buy changes how convincing it feels over time.

Memory

Memory is the entire reason DarLink stands out. Essential has Basic memory, Advanced has Enhanced memory, and the top plan is built around the longest continuity. The company describes its Living Memory system as keeping callbacks for 30 days or more on the highest tier. That is a useful concrete promise, but current reviews also show why the tier matters: people on Essential are much more likely to complain that the character forgot context.

Characters and customization

DarLink supports custom companions and multiple visual styles, then carries the same character into chat and media. Customization is not as obsessively granular as some appearance-first platforms, but it is enough to build a distinct companion and roleplay setup. I would pick DarLink for the memory around that character rather than because the creator has the most sliders in the category.

Images

Images currently cost about two coins each according to DarLink's own pricing material. That makes a few pictures fairly cheap relative to video, and the platform supports several visual styles. Image quality gets mixed user feedback, though, and it is not the feature that earns DarLink its place in the top ten. If visuals are your main job, Candy AI or Lovescape is probably an easier recommendation.

Voice

Essential includes six standard voices, while Advanced lists ten premium voices. Voice is part of the roleplay package rather than a separate calling product. Public feedback is not large enough to make a strong quality claim either way, which is why I would test the actual voices you like instead of assuming "premium" automatically means more natural.

Video

DarLink can generate short adult video clips, and the current pricing material puts video at about 20 coins per generation. That is roughly ten times the coin cost of an image, so video can drain the included balance quickly. It is a useful extra, yeah, but not unlimited media. If you plan to generate constantly, budget for coin top-ups rather than just the plan price.

Mobile

DarLink works on a phone through the mobile site. A similarly named Google Play listing exists, but DarLink's public product materials do not identify it as an official FameLink SA release. Independent product reviews also describe the service as web-based. If you care about a true native app, treat this as browser-first until the company publishes an official store link.

Extras

A practical plus is that DarLink publishes an exact billing descriptor: charges appear as "DARLINK AI." Account deletion through settings or support removes the active profile, virtual-friend configurations, chats, and content, although limited backup or legally required records can remain. Cancellation and downgrades are also covered in the terms, so the basic account lifecycle is less vague than on some competitors.

Pricing

DarLink has three paid tiers and a coin system for media. The entry price looks reasonable, but the memory feature gets much more interesting above Essential.

Advanced$27.99/mo9,000 messages; 300 coins; 10 premium voices; Enhanced memoryDeep Roleplay included
Ultimate$49.99/moTop memory tier and highest feature accessVerify current message/coin quotas on checkout

The cheap tier is not fake, but, honestly, it is where the biggest memory complaints show up. If Living Memory is why you are here, the real comparison is probably $27.99 versus $49.99, not $12.99 versus the rest of the market. Media also uses coins, with video costing much more than images.

Plan quotas and coin costs can change, so verify the live DarLink pricing screen before subscribing, especially if Ultimate is the plan you want.

Safety, privacy, and billing

Current terms require adult use for sexual content. The privacy policy says the company does not sell personal data to unrelated third parties for marketing.

Users can delete their profile through settings or support. DarLink says this removes the active profile, companion configurations, chat history, and content, with limited residual backups or legally required records potentially retained for a period.

  • The terms publish the bank descriptor as "DARLINK AI," which is less discreet than the neutral merchant names some competitors use. Trustpilot was around 2.6 out of 5 from just 11 reviews when checked. That sample is tiny, but the recurring complaints about cancellation visibility, Essential-tier memory, media speed, and cost are still worth reading before paying.
  • DarLink is an entertainment product. A persistent character can feel more continuous than a normal chatbot, but it is not therapy, counseling, or professional mental-health care.

How it compares

DarLink makes the most sense next to Soulkyn for memory and Candy AI for the opposite, visuals-first, priority.
